Division Over Jesus
People divide over so many things, especially when people of influence say or do something. This is also true concerning Jesus. He rarely said or did anything without people being divided over him. Join our study in John 10:19-42, as we learn about the two main reasons why there was division over Jesus, to understand why people divided over him then as well as today.
Battling Unbelief and Moving Mountains by Faith in God
Have you ever found yourself in a desperate situation where you feel like you’re drowning in doubt and your faith is running on empty? The battle against unbelief is every Christian’s battle. “I believe; help my unbelief!” is our desperate plea to Jesus for His mercy and grace as we fight to lay hold of that mustard seed-like faith that can move mountains. Join our study of Mark 9:14-29, Matthew 17:14-20, and Luke 9:37-43 to find out how you too can battle unbelief and move mountains by faith in the God that moves mountains.
Jesus the Good Shepherd
Everyone hopes to have a leader in their life that they can follow who is reliable, trustworthy and good. There is no shortage of people who claim to be that, especially in the realm of politics. But time and time again has shown that even the best political leaders fall short of their claims. Jesus stands in contrast to all leaders when he claims that he is the good shepherd. Join our study of John 10:1-18 to find out why Jesus is the good shepherd and the difference it can make in our lives.
Jesus Gives Sight, Part 2
Jesus giving sight to a blind man illustrates how he gives sight to us in the spiritual realm. Now in the second part of our study about Jesus giving sight from John 9:18-41, we learn more about how having the sight Jesus gives makes a difference in our lives…not only in what we see, but what we do.
Jesus Gives Sight
Jesus claimed he’s the light of the world and that those who follow him will not walk in darkness but have the light of life. This means everyone who doesn’t follow him doesn’t have the sight they need to perceive what’s really going on in the spiritual realm. Fortunately, Jesus shares his light and gives sight, as demonstrated by the way he heals a man who’s blind from birth in John 9:1-17. Join us in our study of this passage that illustrates how Jesus gives sight in the spiritual realm and leads people out of darkness.
